Terra Creta, located in Kolymvari, Chania, Crete, is one of the leading Greek olive oil brands in the international markets, holding a prime position in various countries. Owning its private olive oil mill, the brand efficiently harvests and processes olives within 12 hours, ensuring a consistently top-notch quality in its products. After being acquired by Kikizas, Terra Creta had to be reintroduced to the Greek market.
We reestablished the brand with a revamped brand identity, aiming for a design that strikes the perfect balance across its mainstream and its premium lines. Seamless integration of category codes resulted in a design that exudes minimalistic charm and embodies tradition, authenticity, an olive oil-centric lifestyle, and a contemporary profile that reveals timelessness, bringing the brand into the present.
The olive tree, prominently featured on the bottle, is specially designed and inspired by the ancient olive tree of Vouves, one of the oldest olive trees in the world, also located in Kolymvari area. Serving as a central element, it symbolizes the brand's commitment to history, experience, respect for the land, and the enduring legacy of Cretans in olive oil production. The lowercase letters convey approachability, maintaining a premium feel without coming off as 'bigger' or distant.
The result is a distinctive packaging design that indicates a brand that cares, producing only the finest extra virgin olive oil. Additional elements in the design, such as the Olive Academy, Traceability, and awards, contribute to Terra Creta's identity as a proficient and quality-focused olive oil producer.
